Today’s “Throwback Thursday” will be dedicated to commercial capital of Abaco, Marsh Harbour. Prior to Hurricane Dorian, Marsh Harbour was (and still is) the bustling commercial capital of the Abacos. Sporting every modern amenity that you can expect from a decently sized town, Marsh Harbour was best suited for those who wanted to combine urban living with the slower paced lifestyle unique to the Family Islands. As with the rest of the island, Marsh Harbour is making a strong come back. Reconstruction is continuing, businesses are returning, and residents are continuing to push forward despite the two years of adversity in the aftermath of Dorian. I hope that this video can serve as an inspiration for all Abaconians as the process of rebuilding continues. We can come back better than ever!
